In almost all of VU’s degree programs, students are taught methods and techniques for scientific research. By exchanging best-practices and working together, this education can be improved. The VU Education Lab is working to connect faculty and scientists around this area of education.
In addition, research is being conducted into, and experiments are being conducted with, among other things, adaptive systems that allow students to practice in a much more personalized (more focused and adaptive) manner. This is expected to accelerate the development of their knowledge and skills and improve their retention.
Specifically, in 2019, together with FGB, SBE and FSW, we will focus on the possibilities and experiences with the online program Grasple, the mathematics/statistics program SOWISO and the task bank developed by FSW.
