VU Education Lab Network Event – KnowVU Award and GrassRoots

The VU Education Lab (VU NT&L) helps and motivates people involved in education, to connect and learn from each other. There is no better way to achieve this than organizing a network event! The first edition of this event will be on 7 November 2019. See below the programme of this inspiring day.

|…||Prof. Dr. Jacqueline van Muijlwijk-Koezen is Professor of Innovations in Human Health & Life Sciences with the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences. This Chair with an educational profile aims to integrate educational research and scientific innovations in the field of natural sciences and life sciences. Based on her research and experience, she will inspire the audience in terms of educational innovation and networking in education.|
The KnowVU Award and GrassRoots will also be presented during this event. The KnowVU award is given to a cross-curricular teaching initiative and the GrassRoots are awarded to small-scale ICT experiments.
The KnowVU Award consists of a €7,500.– grant plus 50 hours of assistance from student assistants. The winner of the KnowVU Public Award wins a €2,500.– grant. The GrassRoots consist of five awards of €1,000- each.
You can apply for the awards from 9 September up and until 11 October 2019 at the latest.

Agnes will share her experiences on the importance of Networking in Higher Education. What can everyone gain by being part of a larger community?|
Practice your new networking skills and get up to speed on the latest innovation projects during two rounds of speed workshops. The intention of the workshops is to let you know, in an informal way, what the VU Education Lab can do for you. From Mixed Classroom up to 3D printing, back to hands-on Canvas assistance, everything is possible. Join us during the workshops or visit our VU Education Lab in HG 1B.21.
